Jazz re:freshed have been leaders in the alternative UK jazz scene for 15 years, setting up a record label, annual festival, club nights, and a weekly live music night in Notting Hill. In March 2017, just as the new London jazz scene was about to explode, they teamed up with British Underground and hosted the first UK jazz showcase at SXSW featuring key scene-makers including drummer and band-leader Moses Boyd and saxophonist Shabaka Hutchings (who recently signed to the legendary Impulse! label).
