Public Service Broadcasting at British House in Rio

As part of a series of showcases produced by British Underground at British House during the Rio Olympics we are hosting a headline set from Public Service Broadcasting.  The show is part of the Made in London celebrations on 18th August and takes place in the stunning setting of Parque Lage below the world famous status of Christ the Redeemer. Take a look at our exclusive PSB session and inteview.

Culture is part of London’s DNA. It’s a big reason so many choose to visit and live in London; it generates billions for our economy and gives London its unique character and dynamism.  Made in London will demonstrate how the city leads the way in music, theatre, technology, music and dance giving guests a chance to experience London’s best in the heart of Rio de Janeiro with showcases from the Royal Opera House, Shakespeare’s Globe and Royal Ballet dancers performing a work by Wayne McGregor.

Participate in live experiments from the Science Museum, become a conductor with the Philharmonia Orchestra’s VR experience, take in some Shakespeare with The Globe. And, when you’ve had enough of all that there’ll be immersive theatre, a digital exhibition from the Photographic Youth Music Culture Archive and, bringing the evening to a close Public Service Broadcasting will show you why all the best things are Made in London.
